Trying a new linear feel
The 35-pack is useful when you need a smaller quantity for testing, partial builds or a limited switch count.
No products in the cart.
Xuhua Doll is a conventional 5-pin mechanical switch. The footprint includes two plastic locating legs in addition to the electrical contacts, so a hot-swap socket alone does not guarantee that the PCB has the matching holes.
Confirm 5-pin MX-style support on your keyboard before ordering. This is not a Hall Effect or magnetic switch, so it is intended for compatible mechanical-switch PCBs.
The keypress is linear, with no tactile bump or click mechanism. The 37 gf version reduces spring resistance for a lighter press, while the 45 gf version gives the same linear format with a firmer feel.
Both options are listed with 3.8 mm total travel and factory lubrication. The published specification does not provide pre-travel or bottom-out force, so this page does not invent those values.
The Doll switch uses a Y3-designated smooth polymer stem, a PA66 top housing and a PA66 + GF bottom housing. Both listed force options share the same material stack and 3.8 mm total travel.
Y3 is the published material designation for the stem; its exact polymer chemistry is not specified here. Factory lubrication is included, but final sound still depends on the keyboard around the switch.
Choose the Doll when you want a conventional mechanical linear switch with a clear force choice, factory lubrication and a 5-pin footprint.
Operating Force: 37 gf / 45 gf · Pack Size: 35 PCS / 70 PCS / 105 PCS
Start with 37 gf for a lighter press or 45 gf for a firmer one. Then match 35, 70 or 105 switches to the actual number of switch positions in your keyboard, leaving room for spares if you want them.

The 35-pack is useful when you need a smaller quantity for testing, partial builds or a limited switch count.

The 70-pack is the practical middle option for many compact builds; count your exact positions rather than relying on a layout label alone.

The 105-pack gives more coverage when your build has a higher switch count or when you want spare switches on hand.
Choose your keyboard layout to get a practical starting quantity. Then confirm the exact key count for your board and decide how many spare switches you want for testing or replacement.
Use verified force, travel, mount and lubrication fields to see how this switch differs from nearby alternatives.

The two Doll versions use the same linear format, 3.8 mm total travel, housing materials and factory lubrication. The decision is mainly spring resistance: 37 gf is the lighter option, while 45 gf gives a firmer press. Neither is a quality tier. Choose the force that matches how much resistance you want under your fingers, especially if you already know whether very light switches cause accidental presses for you.
A 5-pin mechanical switch uses two plastic locating legs in addition to its electrical contacts and center post. Many custom PCBs support this footprint, but a hot-swap socket by itself does not prove that the two extra holes are present. Check your PCB before ordering. Xuhua Doll is a conventional mechanical switch, so it is not a replacement for Hall Effect or magnetic switches used by sensor-based keyboards.
The available packs contain 35, 70 or 105 switches. Keyboard layout names do not always tell you the exact switch count, especially when a board includes extra macro keys, split keys or unusual arrangements. Count the switch positions on your exact keyboard, then choose the smallest pack that covers the build plus any spares you want. The 70-pack is the middle option; 105 gives more room for larger layouts.
It is a linear mechanical switch. The keypress does not include a tactile bump or click mechanism.
Operating force is the main published difference. Choose 37 gf for lower resistance or 45 gf for a firmer press. Both versions are listed with 3.8 mm total travel and the same material stack.
The listed total travel is 3.8 mm for both force options.
Yes. The listed switch options are factory lubricated.
Yes. It uses a 5-pin mechanical footprint. Check that your PCB has the matching locating holes before ordering.
It can when the keyboard uses compatible mechanical hot-swap sockets and the PCB accepts the 5-pin footprint. It is not for Hall Effect or magnetic-only boards.
The current product configuration uses 35, 70 and 105 switch packs. Count the exact switches required by your keyboard and allow for spares if desired.
No fixed sound profile is claimed here. Final sound depends on the case, plate, mounting style, keycaps, damping and typing force.
